Aksbel Books are developed through an attributable collaboration process. A user may propose a book, after which the TheoryTrace system helps form its structure and initial draft. The initiator is recorded as a TheoryTrace co-author/contributor and included in the book's citation metadata.

When a user selects Mark Verified, TheoryTrace records the user, time, and exact document version reviewed. The verifier is recognized as a co-author/contributor in contribution and citation metadata. This status records a judgement about a particular version; it is not a guarantee that the document is free from error.

An authorized Editor may correct a document. Each edit creates a new version while previous versions, editor identity, change time, and verification status remain in the history. When an Editor updates an already verified document, the new version records that Editor's edit and verification. Based on this contribution history, initiators, verifiers, and editors may be named in book- or document-level citation metadata, making the book's development and attributed contributors traceable.

Any user with access to the correction feature may also select a passage believed to be wrong, choose Correct, and explain the proposed change. TheoryTrace reviews the proposal. If the correction is found to be valid and is successfully applied, the corrected text is saved as a new version, the previous version is preserved, and the requester is recorded as a co-author/contributor in the contribution history and citation metadata. A proposal that is not applied is not recorded as an authorship contribution.

TheoryTrace co-author/contributor labels and citation entries provide attribution for recorded contributions. They do not by themselves determine legal authorship or copyright ownership. Unless required by applicable law or established in a separate written agreement, this attribution does not create a right to payment, royalties, or revenue sharing. It also does not by itself establish ownership, employment, or partnership.

This collaboration is intended as a shared effort to improve the quality of knowledge and benefit readers. TheoryTrace is grateful to everyone who contributes in good faith.
