How General is calculated

Accuracy is correct answers divided by answered problems.

Breadth adds one point for each answered problem, up to 100.

Practice is the harmonic mean of accuracy and breadth, so neither one lucky answer nor high-volume guessing produces a high score.

When a supervised score exists, General uses 60% Practice and 40% the best Official score. Otherwise, General equals Practice.

This page shows practice evidence for one track. It does not by itself prove a learning effect or confer an official Olympiad title.
